About

The Community Hospice's Wave Riders program is a six week support group for grieving children and teens.  Through art and dialogue, Wave Riders provides a safe, supportive environment to help children and teens learn that:

They are not alone,

their feelings are perfectly normal, and

how to express those feelings in safe and healthy ways.

Any child or teen, aged 3-17 years old, who has experienced any type of death-related loss in their lifetime, regardless if the loved one was on Hospice, is welcome to apply.

Free of charge. Applications and onsite intakes are required.

Families may attend any site, regardless of what county they live in.

Children (aged 3-17) must attend all sessions with an adult.
